🏆 Silani, Tinemi, EU With You Campaign is an award winner!

We are delighted that our Silani, Tinemi, EU With You campaign received 2nd place for Best Radio Advert at Zimbabwe’s National Exceptional Marketing Awards (NEMAs).
The Silani Tinemi, EU With You campaign told the story of our partnership through the people and communities at its heart, highlighting how we work together across Zimbabwe and making EU cooperation easier to understand, more relatable and closer to everyday life.

This recognition belongs to everyone who made the campaign possible: our partners, colleagues, creative teams and the many Zimbabweans who shared their voices and stories with us.

A big thank you to the National Exceptional Marketing Awards for recognising the campaign and the power of communication to connect people.

Security does not stop at borders.

Through the European Peace Facility, the EU helps partners strengthen their security and defence.

What does that mean in practice? Medical equipment, demining tools, vehicles, training, air defence and am******on, depending on what each partner needs.

Different partners face different challenges, but the goal is the same: helping them respond to crises, prevent conflict and protect their people.

The Book of Condolences for H.E. Katrin Hagemann, Ambassador of the European Union to Zimbabwe, is now closed.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who came in person to pay their respects, sign the Book and leave flowers, as well as to all those who shared messages of condolence, solidarity and support from Zimbabwe and around the world. Your kindness and support have meant a great deal to us during this difficult time.

The European Union Delegation to Zimbabwe was honoured to receive Hon. Prof. Dr. Amon Murwira, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Trade, who visited the Delegation to convey condolences on behalf of His Excellency President Dr. Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa and the Government of Zimbabwe, following the passing of H.E. Katrin Hagemann, Ambassador of the European Union to Zimbabwe.

Carolina Cordeiro, Head of Division for Southern Africa and the Indian Ocean at the European External Action Service (EEAS), received Minister Murwira and met with him during his visit.

Minister Murwira signed the Book of Condolences and conveyed his sympathies to the Delegation, as well as to Ambassador Hagemann’s family, colleagues and loved ones.

We are deeply grateful for this expression of solidarity and support from His Excellency the President, the Government and the people of Zimbabwe during this difficult time.
