HE President Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa has intensified Zimbabwe’s investment diplomacy in New York, hosting senior international investors at a business dinner held on the sidelines of the 81st UN General Assembly.
The high-level engagement brought together 35 investors, with half exploring Zimbabwe’s investment landscape for the first time. The discussions centred on connecting Zimbabwe to global capital, strengthening commercial networks and showcasing opportunities emerging from ongoing economic reforms.
Victoria Falls International Financial Centre Chairman Marc Holtzman said reforms across mining, banking, services and monetary policy were attracting growing international attention.
According to Holtzman, Zimbabwe’s efforts to strengthen monetary stability, reform the mining sector and improve the investment environment are contributing to renewed interest from American, European and other global investors.
The message from New York was clear: Zimbabwe is positioning its reform agenda as a bridge between domestic economic transformation and international investment capital.
