LEASE OF KWEKWE BREWERY
TENDER NO. KBR/1/2017/KK

INVITATION TO TENDER
Kwekwe City Council wishes to lease out Kwekwe/Simba Brewery. Applications are therefore invited from prospective bidders interested in leasing the Brewery business for an initial 5 years subject to renewal.
Applications should meet the following criteria;-
• Must be able to pay monthly lease rentals in advance.
• Successful bidders must be prepared to pay a security deposit
• Must submit proposed rentals for the facility. Bidders with highest proposed rentals stand a better chance to succeed after meeting other specifications.
• In the case of sole traders and partnerships, must include Curriculum Vitae of the owners of the partnership.
• In case of registered companies, must include Curriculum Vitae of all Directors of the organization. One of the Directors should be a Managing Director. In addition, a Certificate of Incorporation, CR14, Tax Clearance Certificate, VAT Registration Certificate, should be submitted.
• Submit three (3) tender bids in sealed envelopes clearly marked “Lease of KWEKWE BREWERY”. The tender bids should be placed in the City Council’s Tender Box on or before 10.00 a.m. on the 28th of February, 2017.
• Tender documents are available from the Director of Finance’s office at the Civic Centre upon payment of non-refundable fee of $10.00 (ten dollars)
• Closing date for the tender is the 28th of February, 2017 at 10 a.m.

The final decision on the awarding of the lease lies with Kwekwe City Council. Kwekwe City Council reserves the right to accept or reject any offer and to annul the process, without thereby incurring any liability to the affected bidder or bidders.

We sincerely regret that we faced challenges in collecting refuse from Tuesday 28 July to 30 July due to our refuse truck which was on service. We are sorry for any inconveniences caused in the affected sections.
