A bit about the Directors

Peter LeRoux
Peter was born in Zimbabwe and immigrated to South Africa in 1975. In 1993 Peter became the Mine foreman until 1995 when he got into the Hydraulics Business. Peter started his own business in 2000 and has not looked back since. Peter’s family has a long history within the mining industry. His Grandfather was one of the founders of Lonmin Mining Group and owned several Mines in West Nicholson and throughout Zimbabwe. Peter is married with 3 children and 4 dogs. Johan Van Rooyen

Johan was born in South Africa and has been in the Hydraulic Industry for over 22 years. He has lived throughout Africa working on different projects across the Mining Sector. Johan is now based in Kwekwe and is responsible for the development of Advanced Mining Solutions throughout Zimbabwe. He has procured a large number of on-going contracts within the Mining and Commercial sector. Johan is also overseeing the expansion and development of the Caltrans Engineering property with many improvements and the introduction of new services as well as the training of the staff in new disciplines. Johan is married with 2 children and he loves the outdoors. Patricia Chapple

Patricia is Zimbabwean born and lived in the UK for 8 years where she gained a wealth of experience working across the different private and public sectors. She is based in Kwekwe and has a large client base around Zimbabwe. Patricia is very involved within the Kwekwe community and does a lot of fund raising for the different charities. We are known as Advanced Mining Solutions in Zimbabwe and started operating on the 1st September 2015. We are waiting on our VAT registration and we hold an up to date ITF263 and have all the relevant Company Documents and are registered with all the statutory bodies. We are very excited about this partnership and we are introducing a lot of products and services to Zimbabwe, and in particular to Kwekwe, which up until now, have only been available in Harare and Bulawayo. We are in the process of bringing in more machinery and equipment and our staff will be brought up to date with the various mandatory training and company policies etc. We have recently secured contracts with a number of very large organisations within Zimbabwe and we will be ISO9002 registered within the next few months. Whilst we specialise in Hydraulics, Fire Systems, Maintenance and repairs of mining equipment, some of our other services we provide are listed below -

We have both qualified and semi qualified employees that, between them, have a wide range of experience gained from working in different roles across different sectors. Our rates are calculated according to the skill set of the employee carrying out the job. We are able to work on site when required. All of our work is overseen by a fully qualified Manager. We provide a professional and honest service to all customers. Our billing and quotation system is transparent and all invoices have the relevant information attached to them.
