President Dr Emmerson Mnangagwa has assured the nation that “no-one and no region will starve,” during his address at the 46th Independence celebrations underway at Maphisa Stadium.

ZIMBABWE RECEIVES FINAL ZIMBABWE BIRD IN HISTORIC REPATRIATION

President Dr Emmerson Mnangagwa has received the last Zimbabwe Bird out of the eight taken from the country during the colonial era. The bird, alongside the remains of eight ancestors, was returned to Zimbabwe by the Government of South Africa following high-level engagements between President Mnangagwa and President Cyril Ramaphosa.

The South African Government said the handover, coming just days before Zimbabwe’s 46th Independence celebrations, underscores strong historical and bilateral relations between Harare and Pretoria.

President Dr Emmerson Mnangagwa toured the flagship Mabvuku Interchange Project site in Harare this Wednesday, as progress continues on the key infrastructure development initiative. The project is expected to provide a lasting solution to traffic congestion along the Harare-Mutare Highway, particularly around the Mabvuku-Msasa corridor.

PRESIDENT Dr Emmerson Mnangagwa has called on ZANU PF leaders and members to remain vigilant custodians of the party’s values, urging unity, discipline and ideological clarity as the organisation advances its national development agenda.

Today, President Dr Emmerson Mnangagwa officially handed over a fleet of 10 ambulances to the Ministry of Health and Child Care. The vehicles are equipped to handle emergencies nationwide, significantly strengthening the national referral system and rural outreach.

PRESIDENT Dr Emmerson Mnangagwa has donated US$1 million towards the refurbishment of Ingutsheni Central Hospital, a key mental health institution in the country.
