01 June 2025 ABU DHABI - The Philippine Embassy in UAE marked National Flag Days from 28 May to 12 June 2026 during a Flag Raising Ceremony led by Ambassador Alfonso A. Ver, with the participation of the Migrant Workers Office and the Office of the Philippine Defense and Armed Forces Attaché.

The observance highlights National Flag Day on 28 May, commemorating the first unfurling of the Philippine flag in 1898, and continues through to Independence Day on 12 June.

The Embassy encourages the Filipino community to take part in the national commemoration by prominently displaying the Philippine flag throughout the period.

The Philippine Embassy in UAE joins the nation in the observance of National Flag Days from 28 May 2026 to 12 June 2026, reaffirming its commitment to patriotism, national pride, and respect for the Philippine flag as a symbol of unity and freedom.

On the blessed occasion of Eid al-Adha, the Philippine Embassy in the United Arab Emirates conveys its warmest greetings and sincere felicitations to our Muslim brothers and sisters in the United Arab Emirates and throughout the world.

24 May 2025 DUBAI - The Philippine Embassy in Abu Dhabi, represented by Consul Regatta Marie Antonio-Escutin and joined by Cultural Officer Patricia de Vries, attended the opening of Casa Filipina by DMJ Ecospace at The Garden Concept Store in Dubai.

A pioneering initiative of DMJ Ecospace, Casa Filipina is dedicated to introducing Philippine home décor and lifestyle craftsmanship to the UAE and the wider GCC region. Casa Filipina features authentic, sustainable, and world-class Filipino brands and products such as Calfurn, 51 Weather, Selendra, Prizmic & Brill, Red Slab, and Uratex, among others.

Managing Director and Founder Marilou Lorenzo-Joson expressed her gratitude and shared the inspiring journey behind Casa Filipina. Through determination and perseverance, Casa Filipina successfully created a space that proudly celebrates Filipino culture, artistry, and identity abroad.

In celebration of National Heritage Month, pursuant to Presidential Proclamation No. 439 in 2003, the opening of Casa Filipina highlights the importance of preserving and promoting Filipino heritage through local craftsmanship, design, and cultural expression.
