🦋 Butterfly Education and Awareness Day 🦋

Our learners have been discovering the incredible life cycle of our Orange Lacewing Butterfly, Dawn. From caterpillar to chrysalis to butterfly, the children have loved observing this amazing transformation firsthand and learning about the wonders of nature. ✨🌿

Our Dawn Road butterfly was released! ✨

Named Dawn because it means the beginning of something new, and because Dawn Road is the place she called home during her transformation.

After taking flight, Dawn even returned to the playground to say a quick hello to the children before lunchtime. 🧡

What a beautiful way to celebrate growth, change, and new beginnings.

🦋 Orange Lacewing Butterfly Paintings 🦋
Our Dawn Road artists explored symmetry and creativity as they created beautiful Orange Lacewing butterfly paintings. By folding their artwork in half, they discovered how butterfly wings mirror each other, just like in nature!✨

🦋 Exciting News 🦋

This Saturday, 6 June, is Butterfly Education and Awareness Day!

We currently have a beautiful Orange Lacewing butterfly in the final stage of its transformation, safely resting in its chrysalis. ✨

Over the coming days, we are excited for our children and families to observe this incredible journey and witness the magic of metamorphosis firsthand.

To make this experience even more special, we’ll be inviting the children to vote on a name for our butterfly. 🥰

We can’t wait to see what they choose!
