YEAR 4 BIG DAY OUT BEACH EXCURSION // What a fantastic way for our Year 4 students to finish their learning week, enjoying a beautiful day at Sutton’s Beach!

☀️ Students were welcomed by the wonderful team from Character Builders, who led a range of engaging, hands-on team-building activities, including a rock, paper, scissors tournament, Ironman challenge, foot tongs, chop and drop, human sponge, and ping-pong pipeline.

🤝 Throughout the day, students worked collaboratively with peers across their grade they may not have known well, developing new friendships and celebrating one another’s strengths through “big ups” that recognised positive qualities and contributions.

🐚 There was also time for a quick play at the beach and playground, making for a fun-filled day of teamwork, connection, and laughter.

✅ What an amazing excursion and a wonderful experience for all involved!

ThinkUKnow - Safety Online 🤖🖥 Free Parent Presentation at ACSHS

Albany Creek State High School is proud to host a ThinkUKnow presentation for parents and carers on the 17th of June at 6PM in XPAC.

This presentation will be focusing on how to support your student with navigating safety online and some ways to access support outside school hours. We encourage you to come along and hear some advice from industry experts in the field.

SENIOR MUSICAL // Save the date 🎭
The countdown is on for our Senior Musical, and we are so excited to share this wonderful production with our school community.
Students involved in the Musical are our Performing Arts students, Senior Choir, Boys Choir, Drama Club and Senior Dance Club.

Please see the important performance dates below:
• Full Dress Rehearsal (Whole Cast): Monday, 15 June
• Matinee Performance: Thursday, 18 June (for Albany Hills students only- kindly bring a gold coin)
• Evening Performance: Thursday, 18 June
Doors open at 5:30pm
Show commences at 6:00pm

Tickets will be available for purchase at the door only.
• Adults: $10 each.
• Children: Free

Both EFTPOS and cash payments will be accepted.
🍿 The canteen will be open before the performance and during intermission for snacks and refreshments.

We can’t wait to showcase the incredible talent, hard work, and enthusiasm of our students. More details will be shared closer to the event.
