There is something magic about the Sanctuary in autumn. The air gets a little crisper, and we are treated to some truly golden sunsets that transform the forest canopy. It’s a beautiful time to watch the seasonal shifts take place as the landscape prepares for the cooler months ahead šŸ’š

Sometimes you gotta work extra hard for the best reward!

Koalas are folivores - they only eat leaves, specifically eucalypt leaves. Eucalypt leaves are very fibrous, and the eucalyptus oil in them is highly toxic to most animals, so koalas have a keen sense of smell that helps them choose the most nutrient rich and least toxic leaves. To access these leaves, koalas sometimes show off their acrobatic prowess!
