🎾 COMING SOON 🎾

Balaklava Tennis Club, (B.T.C.), has been working to revive its once-popular ladies’ morning tennis group. ‘Mums Morning Tennis’ is being established, providing an opportunity for families to get involved with both the Tennis Club, and tennis itself as a fun, casual and social activity at an alternate time to B.T.C.’s Social Night Tennis Competition held on Thursday evenings. An incredible response has already been received from the community, from both skilled, experienced tennis players, and those who have never yet set foot on the court (and all skill levels in between!). Prior tennis experience and weekly commitment is not necessary, although minimum numbers will be required. A securely fenced playground is available adjacent to the courts and Mums are invited to bring their young children along. Dates for this season have been finalized, avoiding the busy months of December and January, and will be released soon!
If now is not the right time for you to join the action, please still feel welcome to come along and enjoy the social aspect from the sidelines and learn the game, as well as register your interest in future seasons and events.

🚐 Services Australia Mobile Service Centre is coming to Balaklava!

The Services Australia Mobile Service Centre is visiting Balaklava, providing convenient access to information and support for Medicare, Centrelink, myGov and a range of Australian Government services. Staff can also assist with setting up a myGov account and accessing online services.

Dear Families,

We are excited to share that our facility expansion project is officially getting underway! 🎉

At our working bee over the weekend, we commenced some of the preparation works for the project, including the removal of the existing path and entrance area from the carpark.

As a result, our centre entrance will temporarily be accessed via the Scotland Street entrance.

To make drop-off and pick-up as easy as possible during this time, we ask families to please use the angle parking along Humphrey Street. These parks will now be exclusive to centre families at all times to assist with safe and convenient access to the centre.

We understand that construction works may cause some temporary changes and inconvenience, and we really appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding as we get the project underway.

We are incredibly excited to see these improvements take shape and to create an even better space for our children, families and educators.
