πŸ‡¦πŸ‡Ί Honouring Service, Sacrifice and Community.

On Saturday 24 October, MAJ Dominic Buchan proudly represented ALTC at the unveiling of a commemorative plaque at the Holbrook Cenotaph, recognising those who served in the Middle East Area of Operations (MEAO) from 2001 to 2021.

Hosted by the Holbrook RSL Sub-Branch, the heartfelt occasion brought together veterans, families, friends and the local community to reflect, remember and recognise the sacrifices made by so many.

πŸŽ–οΈ As a guest speaker, MAJ Buchan shared a personal reflection on the strength of military families, the resilience of children growing up through deployments, and the lifelong bonds of mateship forged through service.

πŸ’™ The ceremony was a wonderful reminder of the important role communities like Holbrook play in supporting our veterans and their families, and ensuring their stories are never forgotten.

ALTC extends its sincere thanks to the Holbrook RSL Sub-Branch and the wider community for their dedication to honouring those who have served, and those who stood beside them.

Lest We Forget. 🌺

πŸš‘ Multiple casualties. Limited information. Critical decisions.

Nursing Officers from Navy, Army and Air Force put their skills to the test during the inaugural ADF Extended Practice Nursing Austere Environment Consolidation Phase.

Over four days, Permanent and Reserve members operated in challenging field conditions, combining advanced clinical care with security, weapon handling, logistics and casualty evacuation tasks.

🩺 The training culminated in a realistic Mass Casualty (MASCAS) exercise, testing their ability to assess, prioritise and treat multiple casualties under pressure.

Realistic training. Integrated teams. Mission-ready healthcare capability. πŸ‡¦πŸ‡Ί

πŸš›πŸ’₯ Delivering capability to the front line starts with training.

The Land Tactical Vehicle Training Continuum (LTVTC) provides tactical vehicle training for all Army corps, ensuring soldiers can move, sustain and support the force while protecting themselves and their teams in complex operating environments. πŸͺ–

By standardising and modernising training across Army, LTVTC equips soldiers with the skills to move, shoot and communicate from vehicles across the battlespace… And it all begins at Army School of Transport πŸ›»
