Congratulations to our Year 10 students who took part in Beerwah State High School’s annual mock interview event as part of their Certificate II in Skills for Work and Vocational Pathways.

The event gave students the opportunity to practise answering interview questions, discuss their skills and interests, and connect with industry representatives as they prepare for future employment opportunities.

𝗔 𝗯𝗶𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗸 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘁𝗼 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗶𝗻𝗱𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘆 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀 for generously sharing your time and experience. Your involvement helped bring the world of work into our students’ learning and made this event possible.

𝗙𝗥𝗢𝗠 𝗖𝗟𝗔𝗦𝗦𝗥𝗢𝗢𝗠 𝗧𝗢 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗙𝗘𝗦𝗦𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗔𝗟 𝗦𝗧𝗔𝗚𝗘!

Our incredible Drama Troupe took their creativity to new heights with their original interpretation of 𝘐𝘤𝘢𝘳𝘶𝘴 as part of the 𝗤𝘂𝗲𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗧𝗵𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗿𝗲 𝗦𝗰𝗲𝗻𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁!

From performing on the professional stage at Caloundra Events Centre alongside industry professionals, to sharing their work with family and friends at our very own Performing Arts Centre, our students embraced every opportunity to bring their vision to life.

Entirely student-driven, 𝘐𝘤𝘢𝘳𝘶𝘴 was a powerful showcase of creativity, collaboration, problem-solving and commitment. But Drama is about more than performance — it builds empathy, confidence, communication and respect for others, helping our young people grow both on and off the stage.

𝗪𝗲 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗦𝗢 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗱 𝗼𝗳 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 and the passion, teamwork and imagination they brought to this unforgettable experience.

𝗬𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝟭𝟮: 𝗯𝗶𝗴 𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗻𝗲𝘀, 𝘂𝗻𝘂𝘀𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝗯𝗮𝗴𝗴𝗮𝗴𝗲! 🎒✨

Our Year 12 students have marked their final week of classes with a little creativity and plenty of laughs! For 𝗔𝗻𝘆𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗕𝘂𝘁 𝗮 𝗕𝗮𝗴 𝗗𝗮𝘆, the challenge was simple: bring your school essentials in… anything but a school bag. As these photos show, our seniors certainly understood the assignment! 😂📚

They also mixed in some interesting variations to our school uniform policy.

Among the fun, this week marks an important moment for our Year 12 cohort as they finish their regular classes and prepare for their last exams.

To everyone preparing for external exams: back your preparation, take care of yourselves and approach each exam one step at a time. Your Beerwah school community is cheering you on!

𝗘𝗻𝗷𝗼𝘆 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗺𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀, 𝗬𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝟭𝟮. 𝗬𝗼𝘂’𝘃𝗲 𝗴𝗼𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀!

PS: Full, correct school uniform is required by all Year 12 students when attending exams or at any time on school grounds during the external exam block period.

Young artists sharing culture and helping to shape more welcoming spaces at Royal Brisbane Women's Hospital. 🎨

Students from Pine Rivers State High School, Beerwah State High School , Bray Park State High School and have celebrated their deadly artworks which are now on show at the hospital.

Thanks to a staff fundraiser, organised by the Cardiac Unit at Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital, students were gifted painting tools, supporting them to create the amazing artwork now on display.

The exhibition gave young Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander artists a place to share their creativity and culture, while creating meaningful, culturally inviting spaces for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander staff, patients and community.

During the celebration of the new artwork, students, staff and patients were able to add handprint leaves to the Tree of Connection mural — coming together through art, connection and reconciliation. 🌳

Thank you to our young artists and everyone who helped bring their work to life. Too deadly!

𝗠𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵 𝗪𝗲𝗲𝗸 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 💚

What a fantastic way to celebrate Mental Health Week! Students enjoyed a morning of connection and wellbeing, with a petting zoo, breakfast club, and a visit from Headspace. 🐑☕✨

The day was a wonderful reminder of the importance of looking after our mental health, staying connected, and reaching out for support when needed. Thank you to all students, staff, and community partners who helped make the event such a success.
