This week some of our BPS students had fun participating in the Aussie Bird Count. Miranda and Darren from Bolwarra Landcare shared their knowledge and showed us how to use some bird-watching binoculars. Within our school grounds we saw many rainbow lorikeets and noisy miners, but the best was yet to come. Just before the home bell, Mrs Tuxford noticed a beautiful king parrot that had perched outside the KP classroom. What a colourful finish to our bird count this year!

We could not be more proud of this crew.

Tomorrow, Bolwarra's Drama Ensemble, led by Mrs Oates, will take to the Seymour Centre stage in Sydney representing our little rural school at the NSW State Drama Festival!

To be nominated, is an incredible achievement. To be accepted, puts us amongst the company of selective performing arts high schools and multi-school selective Drama Ensembles from across the state.

Congratulations to this amazing group of kids.
