​Today we take a moment to shine a light on our incredible teachers and celebrate the amazing work they do each and every day. Teaching goes so far beyond the classroom—our teachers are mentors, motivators, and champions for our students. Your passion, patience and dedication do not go unnoticed.

​A heartfelt thank you to our wonderful Bowen Parents and Citizens Association and James Cook University (JCU) for providing such a delightful morning tea for our staff today.

Community Resource Unit (CRU) are providing an Online Inclusive Education Workshop 'Taking Stock and Aiming High: Preparing for the 2027 school year' on Wednesday 11th November that will be of interest to families with a child with disability.

This workshop is FREE and will assist parents in their communication and collaboration with school staff.

🫖🧁 HIGH TEA EVENT SUCCESS! 🥪✨

A massive congratulations to our Year 11 & 12 Hospitality students and Hospitality staff for putting together an incredible final event of the year!

As part of their final assessment, the senior hospitality classes transformed D06 classroom into a high tea setting. Guests (teachers and teacher aides) were treated to an amazing spread of student-made creations, including delicious sausage rolls, decadent brownies, freshly baked scones, and a variety of gourmet sandwiches.

Events like this require weeks of planning, preparation, and hard work behind the scenes. Well done to all of the students for their cooking talents and a special thank you to our amazing teachers and support staff for guiding them to such a successful finish to the year. 🎉👏

Under the Sea & Into the Classroom! 🤿🌊

​Our Year 11 Aquatics students had an incredible time exploring the rich underwater biodiversity at Horseshoe Bay! 🐠🪸

With World Teacher's Day this Friday, we want to say ​a huge thank you to our amazing teachers and teacher aides for organising such valuable hands-on learning experiences for our students.
