Caught up with local Canberra pharmacist Mark at Parliament House today for the Pharmacy Guild and Movember Men’s Health event. My upper lip will remain hairless this month, but I’m proud to back Movember and the pharmacists helping men get the care they need. 👨‍⚕️💙

Canberra hosted the Quality Care Pharmacy Program Roadshow last night.
We were pleased to hear about what the next evolution of Australia's national accreditation program for community pharmacies (QSPP) will mean in practice as it builds on the strong foundations established under the Quality Care Pharmacy Program.

Some key takeaways: QSPP is everyone's responsibility in community pharmacy. QSPP accreditation demonstrates safe clinical practice; competent workforce; strong governance, patient-centred care; and continuous improvement...not just documented policies.

Great to see former ACT Health Minister Meegan Fitzharris getting her flu vaccination 💉 with community pharmacist Esmond at TWC Compounding Ainslie - with Simon Blacker The Pharmacy Guild of Australia .

Meegan was the health minister who signed off the legislation 10 years ago to authorise community pharmacists to administer influenza vaccines in the Territory 🙌.

It is always great to see strong local support for community pharmacy and preventative care.
