Carrum Downs Fire Brigade attends an average of 400 fires and incidents per year.

Carrum Downs & Kangaroo Ground CFA representing CFA for National Volunteer Week at CFA's Bangholme training campus! Jayde Cotic from Channel 10 was covering the weather while our members kept warm with some training on the gas pad props.
These props help prepare members for external firefighting around vehicle fires, structure fire exposures, pipeworks and large gas containers. All controlled by a central training tower to provide oversight, safety, and varying the scenarios.

This week is National Volunteer Week.
It’s a great opportunity to say thank you to not only our brigade members who give so much of their time to provide you with the best possible service we can, but to all who volunteer in their local organizations including but not limited to State Emergency Service, Life Saving Victoria.
