Financial support is now available in the Inverell and Tenterfield LGAs with a natural disaster declaration confirmed for the bushfires that began on 31 August 2026.

👉 Primary producers:
Concessional loans up to $130,000
Transport subsidies up to $15,000

👉 Small business:
Concessional loans up to $130,000

👉 Not-for-profit organisations:
Concessional loans up to $25,000
Donated fodder transport subsidies

The Inverell Art Gallery Christmas Fair Display will begin this year on Saturday 21st November 2026
It is one of the most anticipated events on our calendar!
This is an excellent opportunity for our local makers & creators to offer new stock ( Christmas themed baked goods & handmade gifts ) to visitors that come to the Gallery who will be looking for Christmas gift ideas.

Inverell Shire Council wishes to advise that the Inverell Landfill & Ashford Waste Transfer Station will be 𝐂𝐋𝐎𝐒𝐄𝐃 𝐨𝐧 𝐓𝐮𝐞𝐬𝐝𝐚𝐲, 𝟑 𝐍𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 due to the Annual Council Picnic Day.
