Last night, we welcomed McLaren Flat SA Country Fire Service and Mawson Operations Brigade to Kangy for a familiarisation session with our CAFS Bulky.

CAFS is our Compressed Air Foam System which is a valuable firefighting asset, combining water, foam concentrate and compressed air to produce a foam that clings to surfaces, improves water pe*******on and assists with cooling and extinguishment of fires. Having the opportunity to share knowledge between brigades and to familiarise crews with the Mawson Bulk Water Carrier made for a fun and interactive training session.

A big thank you to both brigades for coming along and making it a great night 🚒🤝

At 2:09am this morning Kangarilla 34 was responded to a vehicle accident involving a motorbike vs guard rail. Our crew worked on scene with Meadows CFS, SAAS and SAPOL to stabilise the patient and then headed back to Kangarilla Oval to support in the helicopter landing to load the patient into the SAAS/MedSTAR helicopter.

Thank you to everyone who responded and worked so well together to give the best outcome to the rider. We wish the rider well throughout their recovery.

🔥 Introducing Into the Ashes Skin Care 🔥

Every time our firefighters step into smoke and ash, they’re putting more than just their safety on the line… their skin takes a hit too. Exposure to heat, toxins, and harsh conditions can have lasting effects long after the fire is out.

Here at Kangarilla CFS we take this very seriously and we believe it’s time to take that control back.

Introducing our new skin care range, available for purchase. This range was created with one purpose in mind, to help protect, restore, and care for the skin of those who give so much to protect our community. Because looking after yourself isn’t a luxury… it’s part of the job.

From the frontline to home, it’s time to prioritise your skin health. All purchases can be made through our recruitment process. Call in to the station to find out more.

🧴 Rejuvenate. Restore. Protect.

It’s that time of year again 🍫

Good Friday we will be on our annual Easter Egg Drive. We will do a lap of the Kangarilla Football Oval and will then head to Spring Avenue to share some Easter eggs with everyone on the side of the road.

Tell your family and friends so the can come and join you as you pop down to either the oval or Spring Avenue to help us share in some Easter fun.

See you there 🍬🐰🐥
