We strive to make every day a great day for our clients. We listen until
we learn what makes people come alive. We know what makes them
anxious, what makes them excited and what makes them smile. We
support people to grow as individuals, explore their communities and,
where possible, develop pathways to work. At Wallara we believe in deep collaboration. We partner with families,
experts in the industry, community groups and businesses to deliver the best supports for each individual. Working with trusted partners allows us to offer a huge range of experiences and resources outside the walls of Wallara. We have a lofty mission to 'drive social change in our community to empower people with different abilities'. We believe that to truly change communities to be more inclusive we need to inspire people to think differently. Through WallaraTV, social media and our Insight schools program we are calling people to see beyond peoples’ disabilities and to imagine what inclusion could look like in their business or community. We thank you for your interest in Wallara. To get a true feel for the heart of our community we invite you to look at our website or to watch a video on our YouTube channel, WallaraTV.

This week, our Community Social Connection crew took part in their first Clean Up Australia Day activity! 🌿

As part of CSC, we enjoy exploring different volunteering opportunities that help build connections with peers and the wider community.

With their PPE on, the team got to work, searching high and low for rubbish in the park and working together to make a difference.

Everyone said they loved the activity, with Chloe describing it as a bit like a game!

We’re looking forward to doing it again throughout the term ☺️
