🚢 A new way to explore the Hunter is launching this week!

From 28 October, hop aboard the Morpeth to Newcastle Cruise with coach return for a scenic journey along the Hunter River.

Spend time exploring Morpeth’s heritage streets, browse boutique shops or grab a coffee before cruising downstream aboard Bay Connections 1. Take in beautiful river views, wetlands and local wildlife before arriving at Newcastle Harbour, with a coach return to Morpeth included.

Looking for something fun and FREE to do with the family? 👀

Come along to the Emergency Management and Community Resilience Expo at Maitland Showground!

Kids can check out big emergency vehicles, meet local responders, get involved in hands-on activities and see live demonstrations, while parents can pick up practical tips to help the whole family prepare for bushfires, floods, storms and other emergencies.

Plus there’ll be music, food, mascots and plenty more to discover.
