🎉 A reminder to all our families that our Dorset Primary School Night Market is happening tomorrow - Friday, 23rd October! 🎉

📅 Friday 23rd October
🕓 4:00pm – 7:00pm
📍 Dorset Primary School
🎟️ Entry: Gold coin donation

🚶 Entry via Rescorla Avenue and Frederick Street (through the staff car park)
Come along and enjoy a fantastic evening of market stalls, delicious food, fun activities and entertainment!
Our Night Market is not only a fundraising event for our school, but also a wonderful opportunity to bring our school community together. It's a chance to catch up with friends, connect with other families and enjoy a fun evening.

💰 A little tip before you arrive!
It's time to raid those coin jars, check under the couch cushions and empty the car's coin stash! Our staff-run stalls will need coins and small change, so please bring some along to join in the fun.
Don't worry if you're more of a tap-and-go person — most of our other stalls will have EFTPOS available!

🚗 A friendly reminder about parking
With lots of families expected to join us, we kindly ask everyone to be mindful of our neighbours when parking in the surrounding streets. Please ensure driveways are kept clear and all parking signs and restrictions are followed. We appreciate your help in being considerate of our local community.

📸 Capturing the memories
We know there will be plenty of wonderful moments worth capturing throughout the evening! When taking photos, we kindly ask families to be mindful of who may be included in the background and to respect the privacy of other children and families.
Not all students have permission for their images to be shared publicly, and some families prefer not to have their photos taken or posted online. Please be considerate when taking photos and especially before sharing them on social media. Where other children are identifiable, please seek permission from their parent or carer before sharing.
Thank you for helping us ensure everyone feels comfortable and included while enjoying the evening.

We encourage everyone to come along, support our stallholders and help make the night a great success.

We look forward to seeing you all on tomorrow night! 🎉

What an incredible day for our school community!
We were so proud our students and staff who bravely took on the World's Greatest Shave, and all our students who joined in the fun with a fantastic Crazy Hair Day!

The day was a wonderful reminder of just how special our community is. The support, encouragement and generosity shown by our students, staff and families was exceptional, with everyone coming together to support those taking part and contribute to such an important cause.

A huge thank you to everyone who participated, donated, altered their hair in a crazy way, cheered on our brave shavers and helped make the day such a memorable one. We are incredibly proud of the community spirit on display and of what we can achieve when we come together.

Our fundraising page is open until the end of the year if you would like to check it out:

Bring a gold coin to school, rock your craziest hairstyle, and join us as students and staff shave and colour their hair to support the Leukaemia Foundation World's Greatest Shave!

We've already raised over $25,000! 🙌

A huge thank you to our hairdressers Diego, Ash, Jacqui and our friends at Barber Master and Affinity Studios for donating their time and skills on the day. ✂️
