What a week! 🎉

Book Week may have officially been back in August, but we finally got to celebrate in October and it was well worth the wait! 📚✨ Our school was filled with favourite book characters, creative costumes and plenty of imagination.

And that wasn’t all! This week we also celebrated Grandparents Day, enjoyed our Sports Expo and got colourful for Loud Shirt Day. 💛🏃‍♀️🌈

A very busy, very fun week at school!

🎭 Year 2 Talent Show! 🌟

Our Year 2 students have been very busy preparing their very own talent show to present to our Prep and Year 1 students!

This has been a completely student-led project, with every student involved in the process — from performers and ticket makers to backstage crew, prop makers and decoration teams. 🎟️🎨🎤

We are so proud of the way our students have worked collaboratively, embraced new challenges and brought their creative ideas to life. What an amazing opportunity for them to take ownership and try something new!

Year 2 families, you’re invited to join us in the PAC tomorrow from 12pm for an afternoon filled with talent, celebration and plenty of laughs! ❤️

This week Mitcham Primary School is participating in Bullying No Way Week. The theme for the week is “Small Acts, Big Impact” which reminds us that actions don’t need to be big to change someone’s world.

Each day we will be sharing the daily messages and themes for the week.

At Mitcham Primary School we believe that showing kindness and respect can create meaningful change in our community 💜
