We have loved visiting our local Kindergartens recently 🎨 We read stories, made animal glasses and sung songs together! It has been a joy to connect with our local network and meet the children!

Today our incredible School Captains are attending the Children’s Advisory Group hosted by Whitehorse Council! 🌟

They’ve had the opportunity to ask questions to Mayor Councillor Langford, dive into local government discussions, and connect with fellow school leaders from across the network 🤝

What an amazing and inspiring opportunity for our student leaders! 💬✨

Yesterday, our incredible Student Voice Leaders met with representatives from Whitehorse Council to discuss the proposed upgrades to Walker Park! 🌿 They had the opportunity to share their ideas for the redevelopment, including more walking paths 🚶‍♀️ and additional water stations!💧
They’re excited about the proposed plans and can’t wait to see the new and improved space come to life!

Today, Mitcham Primary School had the privilege of participating in a joint ‘Welcome to Country’ ceremony with Mullauna College. This annual event brings our two schools together to honour and celebrate the rich culture and traditions of the Wurundjeri people, the traditional custodians of the land. It is a powerful reminder of the importance of respect, understanding, and connection to the land we share, and reinforces our ongoing commitment to reconciliation and cultural awareness. Thank you to everyone who joined us in making this event so special!
