: Last November, the heart of Perth came alive with the colours, flavours, and rhythms of Malaysia; and we're not done yet.
On 15 November 2025, Forrest Place in downtown Perth CBD, transformed into a vibrant celebration of everything that makes Malaysia extraordinary; from stunning cultural performances and engaging showcases to the irresistible aromas of Malaysian cuisine, offering the people of Western Australia a true taste of Malaysia's rich heritage and multicultural traditions.
We were deeply honoured to have the event officiated by the High Commissioner of Malaysia to Australia, Her Excellency Ambassador Sharrina Abdullah, and Lord Mayor Bruce Reynolds of the City of Perth; whose presence reflected the strong and enduring partnership between Malaysia and Western Australia.
A heartfelt thank you to our stakeholders, partners, performers, volunteers, and the Malaysian community in Western Australia; your dedication and support made this a truly memorable celebration.
As 2026 is Visit Malaysia Year, we look back on Journey to Malaysia 2025 with pride and gratitude, and warmly invite everyone to embark on their own journey to discover the many wonders Malaysia has to offer!
