What a wonderful Book Fair we have had! A huge thank you to all our students, parents and grandparents who visited, browsed and purchased books, helping to make this year's Book Fair such a success.

It was lovely to see so much excitement as students discovered new stories, explored different books and shared their love of reading. Your support helps us continue to build and enrich our school library for everyone to enjoy. 💚💛

A very special thank you to Nikita and Amelia for generously giving their time to assist with transactions and keep everything running smoothly. Your help was greatly appreciated!

💛 GRANDPARENTS’ DAY 2026 – A DAY FULL OF LOVE, LAUGHTER & SPECIAL MEMORIES! 💛
What an absolutely wonderful day at Miranda North Public School! 🌸💐
On Tuesday we had the pleasure of welcoming our amazing grandparents and special visitors for a celebration filled with music, dancing, smiles and precious moments together.
🎶 Our students certainly put on a show! From fabulous dance performances and beautiful singing to our talented bands, drumming troupe and recorder ensembles, the hall was bursting with energy, excitement and proud smiles!
☕ Following the performances, our special guests enjoyed a lovely morning tea before heading into classrooms to share in the learning and see firsthand what makes our school such a wonderful place.
📚 Our Book Fair and P&C Bake Sale added even more excitement to the celebrations!
A huge thank you to our wonderful staff, talented students, dedicated P&C, parent helpers and everyone who worked behind the scenes to make this special event possible.
But most importantly, thank you to our grandparents and special visitors! Your love, encouragement, wisdom and support mean the world to our students. Seeing the joy on their faces as they shared their school with you was truly heartwarming. ❤️
What a beautiful reminder that Miranda North is more than just a school – it's a community where generations come together, memories are made and everyone belongs. 💛❤️

🌈💖 WORLD KINDNESS DAY | LET'S MAKE KINDNESS SHINE! 💖🌈
Get ready! We're spreading a little extra happiness, colour and kindness across Miranda North Public School! 🌟
On Tuesday 10 November, our amazing Student Representative Council (SRC) is bringing our school community together for a fabulous day of kindness, fun and fundraising! 💛
Here's what's happening! 👇
💗 KINDNESS SCAVENGER HUNT
Our students will be on a mission to spread kindness throughout the school, completing special acts of kindness and ticking them off as they go. Small acts can make a BIG difference!
🌈 BRIGHT COLOURS MUFTI DAY
Let's fill our playground with colour! Students are invited to wear their brightest, happiest outfits and bring a gold coin donation.
🍦 ICE-CREAM WITH SPRINKLES | $2
A little kindness deserves a sweet treat! Our SRC will be selling delicious ice-creams with sprinkles at lunchtime!
💕 CLASS KINDNESS REFLECTIONS
We'll finish the day by sharing and celebrating the wonderful acts of kindness our students have shown throughout the day.
🛝 KINDNESS WITH A PURPOSE!
All funds raised will go towards further improvements to our school playground, helping make Miranda North an even more wonderful place to learn, play and grow!
✨ Because kindness is contagious, and together we can make our school shine even brighter! ✨
We can't wait to see our students spreading smiles, lending a helping hand and showing that even the smallest act of kindness can make someone's day! 💚

📚 Our Scholastic Book Fair is here all week, bringing plenty of opportunities to discover new books and celebrate a love of reading!

💐 Grandparents’ Day is on Tuesday! We can’t wait to welcome our wonderful grandparents and special visitors for a morning of student performances, morning tea and classroom visits. It’s always such a special occasion in our school calendar! ❤️

🎶 Throughout the week, our students will also be busy with music, dance, swimming and sport, as well as a special visit to Juliana Village.

A huge congratulations to Isaac, who placed FIRST in multiclass shot put at the NSW PSSA Athletics Championships! 👏🎉

Representing Sydney East, Isaac has made our Miranda North Public School community incredibly proud. What an outstanding achievement! 💚💛

💚💛 BIG BEGINNINGS FOR OUR KINDY CREW OF 2027! 💛💚

What an incredible afternoon welcoming our newest Northies and their families to Kindergarten Orientation at Miranda North Public School! ✨

Our hall was buzzing with activity centres, information stalls and opportunities to connect. Future Kindergarten students enjoyed a taste of the fun and discovery ahead, while our Kindy Crew bags added extra excitement to this special milestone! 🛍️🎨📚

A heartfelt thank you to our P&C second-hand uniform stall team and helpers, Scripture representative, Mrs Manson from Learning Support, Mrs Ewels, our school chaplain, our OOSH team, dedicated teachers and outstanding student leaders for making the afternoon so welcoming and memorable.

An extra-special thank you to our incredible office staff, whose care and organisation behind the scenes help our community thrive. 🌟👏

To our Kindergarten 2027 families, welcome to the Northies family! We cannot wait to get to know your children and watch their confidence grow. Your adventure is just beginning! 💚💛✨

📚✨ The Miranda North Book Fair is coming!

Join us in the school library from Monday 26 October to Friday 30 October to explore a wonderful selection of books for young readers. From picture books and graphic novels to chapter books and non-fiction, there’s something to spark every imagination! Books and stationery will be available for sale.

We can’t wait to see our students discover their next favourite read. 💚💛
