🚧 Vicary Street Upgrade – Traffic and Access Update

Construction of the new drivable roundabout at the intersection of Vicary Street and Charles Street, Triabunna, is commencing today, Tuesday 20 October.

Bulk civil works, including the roundabout, kerb and channel, footpaths and road sealing, are expected to be completed within the next four weeks.

🚛 Long vehicles
Semi-trucks and vehicles towing large boats are encouraged to use the alternative routes shown in the attached map when accessing the eastern end of Charles Street or travelling to the Triabunna boat ramp.

🚗 Passenger and light vehicles
Access to the eastern end of Charles Street will remain available via the Vicary Street and Charles Street intersection, subject to traffic control. Alternative routes are also available for motorists wishing to avoid the construction area.

Please note: Once the roundabout is installed, it will be closed to vehicles for approximately 10 days while the concrete cures and reaches its required strength.

Please allow extra time for your journey and follow all traffic management signs and directions while works are underway.

We apologise for any inconvenience and thank the community for their patience while these improvements are completed.
