Confused about what you'll pay for aged care at home? You're not alone. 🧾

It's one of the most common questions we get, so here's the simple version.

Under the Support at Home program, what you pay depends on the type of support you get and your financial situation.

✅ Nursing and other clinical care is fully covered by the government.
✅ From 1 October 2026, personal care like help with showering and dressing is fully covered too.
💲 For everyday help like cleaning and gardening, you pay part of the cost based on your income and assets.

There's also a lifetime cap on how much you'll ever need to pay.

The weeks after an accident can be overwhelming, with appointments, recovery, and suddenly needing a hand with things that used to be simple.

If your recovery is being supported by the TAC, in-home attendant care may be part of your plan. It's arranged on the recommendation of your doctor or treating team, and you get to choose a registered provider that feels right for you.

We support people across Melbourne and Victoria to recover at home, with the same trusted workers, so you're not retelling your story to a stranger every visit.

Robyn has been wanting to see a TV taping, so she and Support Worker Kathy headed into the city to watch Tipping Point being filmed. They took the train to Flinders Street, then an Uber to the Docklands studios.

Robyn got to meet host Todd Woodbridge, have a chat and a photo, and even hold his 2026 Silver Logie! 🌟

They finished the day with dinner at Clocks at Flinders Street Station before heading home.

Getting out into the community, trying something new, meeting new people and making memories is what it's all about. We love seeing Robyn out and about doing the things that matter to her, with Kathy by her side. 💜

This weekend is World Mental Health Day, and this year's theme is all about being heard: "Lived Experiences Heard: Real Voices, Real Change." 💚

Sometimes the most powerful support isn't a task at all. It's a familiar person who turns up, notices how you're really doing, and takes the time to listen.

That's a big part of what our support workers do, every day.
