Welcome to the Scoresby Secondary College official page! We are already seeing the results in improved academic results and increased student numbers.

Here you can stay up-to-date with all of the latest exciting news and events the college has to offer. Our school has been transformed over the past two years with a new culture, curriculum and many new staff. We focus on excellence and enabling every child to reach their best. We believe that every child has a gift, a particular skill, a special something that can make a difference – to their own lives, to the lives of those around them and to the future of our world. Our school is growing, but class sizes are small and there is a very personal approach to each child’s learning. It is an exciting time of growth and change for our school and there are many more exciting initiatives planned.

Another special instalment in our Class of 2026 Year 12 end-of-year celebrations!

Our Year 12 students received a beautiful surprise — heartfelt, handwritten letters from their teachers, alongside letters they had written to themselves back in Year 7.

A special opportunity to reflect on how far they have come, celebrate their growth, and recognise the meaningful connections they have made throughout their time at Scoresby Secondary College.

As they approach the end of their journey at Scoresby Secondary College, we hope they feel proud of the young people they have become and cherish the friendships, memories and connections they will carry with them.

The Koorie 2026 End of Year Celebration was a special opportunity for our school community to come together, have a yarn and reflect on what we are grateful for at Scoresby Secondary College.

We proudly acknowledged our Year 12 student, Emma, celebrating her hard work, dedication and contributions to our college community over the years.

It was a meaningful time to share stories, celebrate achievements and recognise the connections that make our community so special.

We love seeing our students learn essential life skills! Last Thursday, Nurse Maree set up an activity in the Junior School Courtyard to promote the wonderful Doctors in Secondary Schools (DISS) team.

Through high-energy music (perfect for keeping the right CPR beat!) and some sweet treats, students learned how to confidently respond in an emergency, and run through a CPR demonstration.

A big thank you to Nurse Maree for putting together such an engaging and important demonstration!

The DISS Program allows student to access free and confidential health care at school.

Scoresby Secondary College is one of the few schools fortunate to offer this free service to our students.
