At TFEC, counselling doesn't have to look one particular way.

Whether you're sitting across from your therapist in one of our offices or joining your session virtually, the goal remains the same: creating a space where you can talk openly and work toward what matters to you.

💬 If you had to choose, would you go 🛋️ in-person or 💻 virtual?

A reminder that therapists are people, too.

We have good days, exhausting days, days where our social battery is completely gone, and days when all we want to do is go home and switch our brains off.

Taking care of your own cup matters, even when your job is helping other people take care of theirs.

đź’¬ What's been draining your cup lately?

Maybe the book you're looking for starts with a question you've been asking yourself.

“What am I feeling?”
“Why do I keep doing this?”
“How can I approach this differently?”
You don't have to figure it all out at once.

📚 Explore the TFEC Store and find a resource that meets you where you are.
💬 Comment “BOOKS” and we'll point you toward some of our recommended reads.

: You've been thinking about therapy. You've looked at the website. You've considered booking. And then… you close the tab.

If that sounds familiar, you're not the only one.

The first step doesn't have to be a big one. Sometimes it's simply looking into your options and deciding what feels right for you.

🤍 When you're ready, we're here.

In play therapy, there’s no “right” way to play. 🧸🎨

The child gets to lead, choose, explore, and express themselves in a way that feels natural to them. Sometimes, play says what words can’t. 🤍

Sometimes the most helpful thing we can do is get curious before we get critical.

ADHD awareness isn't just about learning the symptoms. It's also about questioning the assumptions we make about someone's behaviour.

A little more curiosity can create a lot more understanding.

💬 What’s something you wish people understood better about ADHD?

Every child’s story is different, and understanding that story is an important part of creating meaningful support. 🤍🧸
