🚨 Day Use Loop Road Closure Notice 🚨

Please be advised that, beginning Wednesday, October 28, 2026, the Day Use Loop Road will be closed to vehicle traffic Monday through Friday to accommodate restoration and repaving work.

The Day Use Loop Road will remain open to vehicle traffic on Saturdays and Sundays throughout the construction period. The anticipated project completion date is November 20, 2026.

Visitors wishing to access the walking trails may continue to do so on foot only. Please exercise caution when travelling through or near construction zones and follow all posted signage and directions.

We can't believe another camping season has come and gone!

As of today, October 26, 2026, our campgrounds, comfort stations and dump and fill station will be closed for the season, reopening in April 2027.
We'd like to thank everyone who camped with us this year, attended a Discovery Program, hiked our trails, swam at the beach and made memories to last a lifetime. And a big special thank you to our incredible staff for all their hard work, passion and commitment to making this season a special one!

But don't fret, our park is still open for day use 365 days a year!
As a reminder:
☀️ A daily vehicle permit is always required. A permit can be purchased at the main gatehouse during operating hours or online at: https://reservations.ontarioparks.ca/
🐶 Dogs must be on a leash at all times and are not permitted on our sandy beaches
🚯 Please ensure that you dispose of your garbage properly
🚨 Follow us on social media for updates and alerts throughout the season

We want your photos!

Two new photo monitoring stations have been installed in the park as a part of GeoReach, a University of Waterloo led initiative. You can become a Community Scientist and help us track changes over time! Simply place your phone in the cradle, take a photo and share it!

The next time you are walking the Marsh Boardwalk Trail or Owen Point Trail we encourage you to look out for these photo stations and share a photo!

We’re doing it again! 🌱💪
Join us for another Tree Nursery Clean-Up Day at Presqu’ile Provincial Park on Saturday October 24.

Help us dig, lift, and rebuild the nursery beds that support our native forest seedlings. If you love the outdoors and don’t mind getting muddy, we want you!

🗓 Saturday Oct 24 • 9 AM–12 PM
📍 Tree Nursery (in the campgrounds), Presqu’ile Provincial Park
🛠 Nursery bed restoration

Bring: boots, gloves, water, and your best “let’s do this” attitude.

Students looking to earn volunteer hours are welcome! A parent will need to sign the Ontario Parks volunteer form on site.
