On November 3, officers stopped a driver on Bishop Street North in Cambridge travelling 78 km/h in a 50 km/h zone.

The traffic stop uncovered much more:

🚫 Driver's licence suspended
🚫 No insurance
🚫 Improper plates
🚫 No valid permit
🚫 Unsafe vehicle

The vehicle had multiple safety concerns, including worn tires, loose lug nuts on one wheel, and a defective emergency brake system. Plates and driver's licence were seized, and the vehicle was towed.

Speeding is dangerous. Driving an unsafe, uninsured vehicle makes the risk even greater. Help keep our roads safe by ensuring both your driving and your vehicle are road-ready.
