🎉 What a Wonderful Few Months at Community Living Fort Frances and District! 🎉
As we wrap up May through October, we’re looking back on some incredible moments, meaningful connections, and celebrations that made these months so special!
May was a busy and exciting month! We had the pleasure of welcoming Michael Jacques for an inspiring presentation, celebrating Community Living Month with our annual Flag Raising, and recognizing our amazing staff at our Service Awards! Together, our honoured staff celebrated an incredible 105 years of service, a testament to the dedication, compassion, and commitment that make our organization so special.
June brought opportunities for connection and learning as we welcomed a Self-Advocacy Group for a visit! It was a wonderful opportunity to share experiences, build connections, and celebrate the importance of self-advocacy and inclusion in our community.
September was all about celebrating our Developmental Services Professionals (DSPs)! During DSP Week, we took time to recognize and thank our hardworking DSPs for everything they do each and every day. Their compassion, dedication, and commitment to supporting people to live meaningful, fulfilling lives make a difference that reaches far beyond the workplace. We are so grateful for all that they do! September also brought an exciting opportunity to connect with Community Living Ontario (CLO) in Toronto! It was a great chance to come together with others who share our passion for inclusion, learn from one another, and celebrate the work being done to create more inclusive communities across Ontario.
