A warm welcome to Michel Litalien, the new Sergeant-at-Arms of the Legislative Assembly of New Brunswick.

Mr. Litalien brings exceptional policing, public safety and leadership experience to his new role. He joins the Legislative Assembly following a remarkable 36-year career with the Royal Canadian Mounted Police in New Brunswick, preceded by five years of service with the Canadian Armed Forces.

A significant part of his RCMP career was spent with Police Dog Services. Mr. Litalien served as coordinator of the RCMP’s Police Dog Services in New Brunswick, combining leadership responsibilities with extensive operational experience in the field. His career has provided him with a wealth of experience in policing operations, public safety and working collaboratively with a wide range of partners.
