🎄 Reminder: Update Your Banking Information for the 2026 GTC Christmas Distribution

Gwich’in Participants, please remember to ensure your banking information is up to date for the 2026 GTC Christmas Distribution.

💰 Enrolled Gwich’in Participants 18 and older will receive $300, with payments taking place over the first two weeks of December.

🏦 Direct deposit is the preferred payment method.

📅 Deadline to provide direct deposit information:
October 31, 2026 at 5:00 PM

If your banking information is new or out of date with Finance, please provide a bank-issued direct deposit form or void cheque to:

On this National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, Grand Chief Fredrick Blake Jr. and the Gwich’in Tribal Council staff wear orange in honour of the children and youth who endured the residential school system, the Survivors who carried those experiences home, and the children who never returned.
Today, we remember. We honour the strength and resilience of Survivors, their families, and our communities, while recognizing the lasting impacts of residential schools across generations. May we continue to listen, learn, heal, and walk together on the path toward truth and reconciliation.
