Don't get tricked before winter, it's time to plant your trees now!

Whether you're a farmer looking to add a windbreak, a landowner planning habitat improvements, or a homeowner hoping to enhance your property, our Trick or Tree Giveaway is your final opportunity of the season to pick up native trees before winter arrives.

Join us at the Community Tree Nursery and enjoy the beauty of the fall colours and take home some homegrown, native trees and shrubs. Come dressed in costume and help us celebrate Halloween in nature!

🎃 Saturday, October 31
🎃 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM
🎃 888 Western Counties Road

Looking for a specific native species? Be sure to check out our Native Tree Sale online. Many species are available for just $20, but quantities are limited and your favourites won't last long.

We can't think of anything spookier than a city without trees. Help us grow a healthier, greener community by planting one this fall! 🍂🎃

What makes a home feel safe? 🏡

At Indwell, safety is about more than locks, cameras, or emergency response. It’s built into how we design our buildings, care for our properties, support tenants, and nurture community.

And what about the impact of supportive housing on the surrounding neighbourhood? The research might surprise you!

I am so grateful for all the ways my community supported me in my first run for Council. Thank you!

I'm creating a monthly Ward 10 newsletter and working with a group of neighbours to create an organization to continue bringing the voices of Ward 10 voters to Council. If you'd like to be part of the group and/or receive the monthly newsletter, please reach out.

A huge thanks to all the City staff and hundreds of volunteers who made the 2026 election happen. And congratulations to our new Council and second term mayor. This is a great team and I look forward to working with you in various ways over the next four years. Edit: Well, I guess it sounded like I won a seat in Council. I did not AND I'm working with a group of dedicated neighbours to create an organization to bring the voices of Ward 10 to Council.
