Visions Employment is a non-profit community-based Employment Corporation. We were established in 1994 and Incorporated in the same year. Funding for this initiative has been provided by the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador through the Canada–Newfoundland and Labrador Labour Market Development Agreement and Workforce Development Agreement. We provide employment-related services to adults with Developmental Disabilities, Autism Spectrum Disorder and Learning Disabilities living in the City of Mount Pearl, the Town of Paradise, Conception Bay South, Conception Bay Center, the Southern Shore and Metropolitan St. Visions Employment Inc. is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors including professionals from the community, business sector, and parents of individuals to whom we provide service. Last week Visions Staff were pleased to participate in the Newfoundland and Labrador Counsellors and Psychologists Association Annual Conference "Stronger Together." It was a wonderful opportunity to connect with Counsellors and Psychologists as well as other community groups, and to share information on Disability Employment Awareness Month and how Visions Employment can assist individuals with development disabilities, autism, and learning disabilities in their employment journey. Andrew Saunders, who for many years has worked as a Job Coach with one of our clients, can be spotted in various scenes throughout the Below series.

As seen here from the second episode of Below, residents of Snook's Arm gather behind Joette Biles, portrayed by Mary Lewis, as the town grapples with a gruesome discovery on the docks following a tragedy hitting the Biles family. Andrew is sporting the red and black paid jacket.

New Diagnosis Workshop Series

Recently diagnosed or looking to learn more about autism? ASNL’s five-session virtual workshop offers an Autistic-informed, neuro-affirming introduction to autism, processing, culture and communication, supports, and advocacy.
