SH***UN AND KNIVES FOUND IN CAR OF PROHIBITED DRIVER

On October 8, 2026, UGET North District officers stopped a vehicle and arrested the driver on an outstanding warrant for driving while prohibited.

A vehicle search revealed several knives, a mask, a sh***un shell and a sh***un wrapped in a blanket in the trunk.

The driver did not have a valid fi****ms license. All items were seized.

UGET's proactive enforcement helps keep our communities safer.

TRAFFIC STOP LEADS TO ARREST OF INDIVIDUAL WANTED ON 14 OUTSTANDING WARRANTS

Officers with CFSEU-BC's Uniform Gang Enforcement Team (UGET) attempted to stop the individual, who fled from police. Shortly after, the individual was located and arrested with the assistance of Langley RCMP.

A proactive and strategic traffic stop in Langley led to the arrest of an individual wanted on 14 outstanding warrants.

Officers with CFSEU-BC's Uniform Gang Enforcement Team (UGET) attempted to stop the individual, who fled from police. Shortly after, the individual was located and arrested with the assistance of Langley RCMP.

This arrest highlights the importance of proactive enforcement, strategic policing and collaboration between law enforcement agencies in identifying wanted individuals and enhancing public safety.

The Board of Governance of the Combined Forces Special Enforcement Unit of BC
(CFSEU-BC) and the Organized Crime Agency of BC (OCABC) is pleased to announce
the appointment of RCMP Chief Superintendent (C/Supt.) Mandeep Mooker as the new
chief officer.

Chief Officer Mooker brings more than 23 years of policing experience spanning
frontline operations, major crime investigations, organized crime enforcement, executive
leadership, and integrated policing.

Chief Officer Mooker began his RCMP career at Burnaby Detachment in 2003 before
joining the Integrated Homicide Investigation Team (IHIT) in 2008, where he developed
extensive experience in complex homicide and major crime investigations.

In 2017, he joined the Combined Forces Special Enforcement Unit of British Columbia
(CFSEU-BC), progressing through senior leadership roles including Program Support
NCO, Performance Officer, and Investigations Officer. In 2022, he returned to IHIT as
Officer in Charge, where he led a significant expansion of the organization,
strengthened investigative capacity, and spearheaded the creation of the Integrated
Gang Homicide Team to enhance coordination between homicide and organized crime
investigations.

Chief Officer Mooker brings extensive experience leading integrated teams, developing
specialized enforcement capabilities, advancing intelligence-led policing, and
strengthening partnerships across municipal, provincial, federal, and international law
enforcement. He is an accredited Team Commander and has mentored numerous Team
Commander candidates through this highly specialized program. Recognized for his
collaborative leadership and commitment to employee wellness, he currently serves as
Vice-President of the BC Association of Chiefs of Police and is the incoming President.

CFSEU-BC and Yukon RCMP join forces to disrupt suspected drug trafficking and protect northern communities.

An investigation initiated by CFSEU-BC’s Illegal Fi****ms Enforcement Team led investigators to identify suspected drug trafficking activity extending into the Yukon.

On October 20, CFSEU-BC investigators and the Yukon RCMP Crime Reduction Unit arrested four individuals during a targeted traffic stop on the North Klondike Highway. Police believe they were travelling to Pelly Crossing and Mayo to distribute illicit drugs.

Police seized more than one ounce of suspected co***ne. Subsequent searches at a location where the individuals had been staying resulted in the seizure of am******on and items consistent with illicit drug trafficking.

Through intelligence sharing and coordinated enforcement, CFSEU-BC and Yukon RCMP are working together to disrupt criminal activity and protect northern communities.

The investigation remains ongoing.

A proactive and strategic traffic stop in Mission, BC, led to the arrest of a prohibited driver and the seizure of a fi***rm.

Officers with CFSEU-BC's Uniform Gang Enforcement Team (UGET) conducted a traffic stop and determined that the vehicle's registered owner was prohibited from driving.

The individual was arrested for driving while prohibited. During a search incidental to the arrest, officers located a .22 calibre fi***rm.

This incident highlights the importance of proactive enforcement and the role our officers play in identifying potential threats and enhancing public safety.
