This year, we're introducing something new and exciting for bowlers who reach certain fundraising thresholds! You can get exclusive Momiji Bowlathon memorabilia if your team reaches the goals of $1,000 and $2,000. So if you've forgotten to ask anyone to sponsor you, now is the time to ask and increase your chances of getting this Bowlathon swag!

Not coming bowling, but still want to support Momiji?

Become a Community Sponsor by giving $500 or $200, and join the Corporate Sponsors on our sponsor recognition boards! You can give money to the Bowlathon in honour of someone, with a short display message included in the benefits of becoming a Community Sponsor. But one of the easiest ways to support Momiji’s Bowlathon and its participants is to sponsor the bowlers! Is a friend or family member bowling? Pledge money to support their team and Momiji! Bowlers can collect money in-person or online, so ask how they prefer to accept your pledge.

JOIN AS A CORPORATE SPONSOR!

Are you a corporate entity looking to support a worthwhile cause, and engage in a little team building? By donating $1,250 or more to Momiji's Bowlathon, you can enter your own team of 4 or 5 to play against the Momiji CEO team! Plus delicious bento dinners for your team back at Momiji after bowling.

Entering a team isn’t a requirement—if your company wants to sponsor the event without entering a team, you’ll still reap the benefits of sponsor recognition and supporting Momiji’s seniors.

JOIN AS A BOWLER!

If you love bowling or just want a fun day out with family and friends, assemble a team of 4 or 5 bowlers and register today!

You can sign up to bowl 5-pin at Parkway Bowl or 10-pin at Kennedy Bowl. For families with young kids, 5-pin will be the place to be, with an easier style of bowling for smaller hands and some fun games on the side to keep everyone entertained!

Once you’re registered, collect sponsorship money in person or online (or both). The individuals and teams that raise the most money for the Momiji Bowlathon will be eligible to win special prizes! Plus, the pride of raising all that money for Momiji’s seniors!

Bowlers also have the option of joining us back at Momiji for the dinner reception after the games are done! Order your choice of bento or pizza dinners, grab some drinks, and watch the prize ceremony.

🌸 Spring is in full swing at Momiji!

Our garden is looking particularly beautiful right now, so make sure to visit and take a walk. Our fountain is on, the tulips and daffodils are out, and the cherry blossoms are coming into bloom. Some of our flowering trees still only have buds, and the leaves on our maples are just starting to appear, so even if you miss the small window for the cherry blossoms, there is more to look forward to!

Momiji offers a telephone Health Consultation service in Japanese or English!

Licensed nurses (RPN/RN) provide health advise, wellness tips and guidance—all in Japanese or English. This service is part of Momiji@Home PLUS, a fee-based program that supports seniors live independently with personalized, culturally sensitive care.

Something sweet returns to Momiji this May!

Momiji has partnered with Fujiwara’s Creamery to bring delicious, Japanese-inspired ice cream to our community! From April to September 2026, enjoy monthly ice cream offerings, available for pick up at Momiji. Preorder is required! Payment upon pick-up.
