πΊ We are officially two weeks into our exclusive Clay Circles πΊ
Β
Common Ground ceramics program at the Gardiner MuseumποΈ, and the creativity is already flowing! It has been incredibly inspiring to watch our cohort of young adults connect and dive right into essential hand-building techniques.π
After gathering around for detailed instructor demonstrations, participants got their hands dirty preparing clay, pressing beautiful, intricate leaf textures into slabsπ, and sculpting unique, wavy-edged bowls on banding wheels.Β
Beyond the amazing art taking shape, it is wonderful to see this community space come alive as everyone shares tools and supports each otherβs artistic journeys.Β π€π
We cannot wait to see how these early pieces evolve as we work toward mastering the glazing process and preparing for our professional summer exhibition this August!π¨
