This week, our seniors participated in an engaging online AI Safety Workshop, where they explored the opportunities and considerations of using artificial intelligence in everyday life.

At the same time, families attending the Drop-In program took part in the Family Thermostat Workshop, facilitated by our very own team member, Evelyn. A special thank you to Evelyn for sharing gentle tools to support emotional regulation and interactive strategies for navigating big feelings with children.

We are grateful for the meaningful learning and connections that took place this week. Join us next week at your favourite Drop-In program as we continue to strengthen relationships and foster positive connections between parents, caregivers, and children.

During Seniors Week, June 1–5, MOFP was pleased to offer opportunities for seniors to connect, create, and engage through meaningful activities in a welcoming and supportive environment.

Participants enjoyed creative expression, conversation, and companionship through our Active Horizons Seniors program on Mondays and Time and Space with Andrea on Fridays. These programs provided valuable opportunities for seniors to build connections, explore their creativity, and share in the simple joy of creating together.

At MOFP, we remain committed to enhancing the quality of life for seniors and families by fostering social engagement, lifelong learning, and a sense of community. Seniors Week was a wonderful celebration of the contributions, experiences, and connections that enrich our community every day.
