A great resource they've put together.

There is so much history and culture to learn from our Indigenous friends and neighbours.

Today we celebrate that, and acknowledge that while Canada has been working on reconciliation, there is still so much more that can be done.

We thank the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish) and səlil̓wətaʔɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) people for their continued stewardship of the unsurrendered land we call home.

An excellent way to educate ourselves and understand more.

NEXT THURSDAY: Learn more about Indigenous land title and rights across the traditional territories of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam Indian Band), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh Úxwumixw (Squamish Nation), and səlilwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh Nation) at this FREE online session.

Another weekend, another neighbourhood, Vancouver!

The VanGreens are door-knocking this Saturday and Sunday and we'd love to have you join us!

Door-knocking is one of the easiest ways to help the party, and you don't have to worry about being tossed in cold! Our volunteer coordinator, Genevieve, and canvass coordinator, Kinsale, will make sure you're able to support a senior canvasser, giving you time to observe and learn at your own pace (which usually means writing notes on the clipboard!).

Can't make it out to canvass? Consider donating to support our members walking our neighbourhoods! Even as little as $5 or $10 adds up to make sure they have the supplies they need (pamphlets, buttons, pens, etc.) to do what they can!

Donate at https://www.vangreens.ca/donate or sign up to volunteer at https://www.vangreens.ca/volunteer

Help us make a change this October any way you can!

This weekend the VanGreens are hitting the streets in a big way!

Saturday and Sunday our teams will be out door-knocking and asking Vancouver what they want to see happen in City Hall, on the Parks Board, and with the School Board over the next 4 years.

If you're a Green supporter and want to help out, get in touch with our volunteer coordinator, Genevieve.

Don't worry if it's your first time out with us: our canvass coordinator, Kinsale, will make sure you're paired up with a veteran and give you all you need to know to help us out.

October will be here before we know it. We need the city's support behind a progressive mayor with experience and integrity like Pete Fry for Vancouver. We need a Green presence on all our municipal bodies to ensure he has the support he needs as mayor. We need feet(s) in the streets to make that happen.

After 12 years of leading the Green Party NB / Parti vert NB, MLA David C**n announced he's stepping down.

We're grateful to have had such a passionate, dedicated Green who has served New Brunswick, and his constituents well. He's certainly a role model for any aspiring Green!

Once again, thank you, David!
