đź’ś Grief can be hard for children to put into words.

This November 19, CMHA-WECB’s Griefworks program is creating a safe and supportive space for children and families to come together for Children’s Grief Awareness Day.

Through creativity, gentle movement and expressive activities, children can explore their feelings, release stress and create meaningful keepsakes to honour someone they love. 🌸

We’ll also come together at 6:30 PM for our Circle of Remembrance, creating a shared moment to honour loved ones and support one another.

✨ Free for community families

A huge thank you to the Shake the Lake Committee for their generous donation of $12,500 in support of youth mental health in our community! đź’š

We were also happy to welcome the committee for a tour of our Youth Wellness Hub Windsor-Essex where they had the opportunity to learn more about the programs, services, and support available to youth aged 12-25 in Windsor-Essex.

Great things happen when we come together with a shared vision and a strategic plan! đź’™
CMHA-WECB was proud to join partners from Windsor Regional Hospital, the University of Windsor Faculty of Nursing, Schulich Windsor Campus, the City of Windsor - Municipal Government and Windsor Shelter Health Associates for a strategic planning session focused on the future of Windsor Shelter Health.

Through collaboration and a shared commitment, we’re working to strengthen access to integrated, compassionate health care for people experiencing homelessness and housing instability in our community.

Together, we’re building on the progress we’ve made and creating a healthier, more supportive future for Windsor-Essex. 💜

For the helpers.

For the people who spend their days caring for everyone else:

You can care deeply and still have boundaries. You can help others and still need help. You can be compassionate without carrying everything home. You are allowed to put the weight down sometimes.

You matter too.
