A big thank you to Mikkelson Coward for their generous donation of a brand new air source heat pump for one of our newest Habitat homes!

This energy-efficient heating and cooling system will help keep a Habitat family comfortable year-round while helping reduce their energy costs.

What started as a connection at a Winnipeg Blue Bombers networking event has grown into a wonderful new community partnership! We're so grateful to Mikkelson Coward for stepping up to support affordable homeownership in Manitoba.

Thank you for helping us build more than houses. You're helping build brighter futures! 🏡🤝❤

Last week we wrapped up our 2026 Team Build season!

We had incredible year at our Pandora Avenue West and Panet Road build sites with 116 teams & more than 1,100 volunteers who helped raise over $425,000 to support affordable homeownership for Manitoba families!

To every team, volunteer, sponsor and community partner who joined us on the build site this year, THANK YOU! Your enthusiasm, hard work and generosity are making a lasting difference. Every wall raised, every nail hammered and every dollar donated brings us one step closer to a future where more families have a safe, affordable place to call home.

Together, we're building more than homes. We're building stronger communities and brighter futures for generations to come. See you next year! 🏡 🔨💙

For 14 incredible years, Mary has generously given her time and talents to Habitat for Humanity Manitoba, supporting countless administrative initiatives and making a lasting impact on our organization. 💙

From her incredible attention to detail to her unwavering dedication, Mary has played an important role in so much of our work, including the Meaning of Home contest, helping us engage and inspire students across Manitoba year after year.

We recently had the opportunity to celebrate Mary on her final day of volunteering and recognize the remarkable legacy she leaves behind.

Thank you, Mary, for 14 years of kindness, dedication and generosity. We are so grateful for everything you’ve done for Habitat Manitoba and the families we serve. 💙

“It’s an affordable home right now, and I can say this is going to provide stability for me and my girls.” 💙

These words from new Habitat Manitoba homeowner Gloria are a beautiful reminder of why we do what we do. Gloria and her three daughters are among the final 15 families celebrated at last week's Hearts & Hammers event, marking the completion of our largest development to date on Pandora Avenue West.

From the excitement of receiving symbolic keys to the security and pride of having a place to call their own, these are the moments that make this work so meaningful.

A big thank you to WinnipegToday for capturing the stories of our homeowners and sharing this incredible milestone in Habitat Manitoba's history!

Last night, we came together for a truly special evening at Hearts & Hammers: Unlocking 15 New Beginnings, celebrating 15 Manitoba families officially becoming homeowners!

Watching these families receive their symbolic keys was a beautiful moment, made even more meaningful by the incredible community of people who gathered to celebrate alongside them. Their key ceremonies marked the completion of our largest development to date on Pandora Avenue West in Transcona, bringing an incredible four-year journey to a close.

55 homes. 55 families. One vibrant new community. 🏡

For so many of our donors, sponsors, volunteers and community partners who have been part of this journey for more than four years, it was a chance to reflect on just how far we've come. What was once a vacant piece of land is now a thriving neighbourhood where families can put down roots, children can grow and new memories can be made.

To everyone who helped bring this vision to life, thank you. Last night was a beautiful reminder of what we can accomplish when a community comes together. 💙
