We organize for People's Park as a vital community space for the poor and unhoused.

We are fighting the UC's plan to build more unaffordable student housing which would lead to further gentrification and the violent displacement of Berkeley residents.

Video from yesterday, morning of October 5th- US Boarder Patrol killed another ancient Grandmother tree in Lochiel AZ.

Armed masked Border Patrol members injured protestors. They raided camp and an estimated dozen people were arrested.

Berkeley City Council is attempting to introduce legislation to overturn the ban on tear gas use by BPD, as well as restrictions on the use of K9s, helicopters, and pepper spray.

A message from Naveen: Next week, a severe cold front will arrive, and my little children do not have enough winter clothes to protect their tiny bodies from the freezing temperatures. My heart is full of fear… they suffer from chest allergies, and the harsh cold could be life-threatening if we don’t find someone to help them.

I am alone, unable to protect my children from this coming danger. Every passing moment increases my fear, every cold breath on their small bodies fills me with dread. I can’t sleep from worry, thinking about how to keep them safe with no resources.

I beg you… anyone who can help, no matter how small, to buy them warm winter clothes to protect and comfort them. Don’t let the cold be cruel to them. Every moment counts, and your support could save their lives.
