🌦️ After a tricky weekend, it’s time for a treat! 🦢🎃

After all that stormy weather, why not head outdoors for some fresh air, wildlife and a little Halloween fun?

🍂 HALF-PRICE ENTRY at the Swannery every day this week and all weekend!

👻 Follow our Halloween fun trail and discover six ghostly games dotted around the Swannery, specially designed for under-10s.

🦢 Get up close to our beautiful swans, enjoy the fresh Dorset air and let the little ones burn off some energy exploring our wonderful wildlife haven.

☀️ The forecast is looking brighter for the rest of the week, so it’s the perfect time to wrap up, get outside and enjoy a little autumn adventure!

🌬️🦢 A very different day on the Fleet Lagoon yesterday!

Not the usual calm, peaceful waters today. With winds gusting close to 50mph along Chesil Beach, the Fleet was quite a sight to behold!

Thankfully, our colony is doing just fine, with most taking shelter along the shore while a few brave souls ventured out onto the choppy waters. 🌊

Nature at its wildest! 💙 Today the Swannery is back open.

👻 A SPOOKY SWANNERY ADVENTURE AWAITS THIS HALF TERM! 🦢

Something spooky is stirring at Abbotsbury Swannery this Halloween… and our swans have a few ghostly visitors joining them! 👻

From Saturday 24 October – Sunday 1 November, step into the magical world of the Swannery, where hundreds of beautiful swans glide across the waters and wander freely around the grounds. But look a little closer… something mysterious is hiding among the reeds! 👀

Six ghostly games are waiting to be discovered! Will you dare to venture into The Mire, uncover the secrets of HMS Bone Wreck or take on The Bat Cauldron? 🦇💀

Follow the trail through the Swannery, keeping your eyes peeled for skeletons, spiders, pumpkins and a few spooky surprises along the way!

It's a wonderful autumn adventure for little witches, wizards and brave explorers aged under 10, with plenty of opportunities to enjoy the Swannery's magnificent birds along the way. 🦢🍂

There’s a definite autumn feeling in the air at Abbotsbury Swannery today, with the season bringing a little extra magic to our beautiful corner of Dorset. 🍂🦢

👻 Something spooky is stirring at Abbotsbury Swannery… 🎃

As the autumn mist rolls across the water, strange things have begun appearing around the Swannery… 👀

A Bat Cauldron has been bubbling away. 🦇
The mysterious Mire is waiting to be discovered. 🌫️
And somewhere along the way, you may even stumble upon the HMS Bone Wreck… 💀

But that’s not all.

Skeletons are lurking, spiders are spinning their webs and pumpkins are hiding among the grounds. 🎃🕷️

Six ghostly games have been scattered around the Swannery — but can you find them all?
