In what we believe to be a first for the Corps, a former member of the RAPTC has be sworn in as a member of the King’s Bodyguard of the Yeoman of the Guard.
Former WO2 (QMSI) Aaran (Eddie) Eade was sworn in as a member of the King’s Bodyguard on Fri 8 May 26 and conducted his first duty at the King’s Garden Party at Buckingham Palace the very same day.

ACRRS RD 3 BATH WED 27 MAY 26
The RAPTC Velo Apostles took on the fast and technical Odd Down circuit today in one of the toughest race days of the series so far. With temperatures reaching 29°C, the flowing course and tight hairpins at either end of the circuit created a constant technical challenge throughout the racing.
Nine Apostles lined up across the races and dug deep through relentless heat and mechanical setbacks across the day.
Strong performances on the day included:
* WO1 Pyburn — battling to an impressive 4th place in the B Race
* SSgt Chennell — strong ride in a stacked A Race field, finishing 7th overall
The conditions turned the racing into a true survival contest, with every rider pushed to their limits lap after lap. Despite adversity throughout the day, the team continued to fight for positions and represent the RAPTC jersey with pride.
Another gritty day of Army racing for the Apostles — showing resilience, determination and teamwork in difficult conditions.

Early morning phys for 4 SCOTS out in Cyprus, led by SSgt (SSI) Michaelson-Yeates RAPTC alongside the 4 SCOTS PTIs, putting the troops through their paces and testing both physical and mental resilience.
The morning started with a tough 5km burden run around the Bondu in the Cyprus heat — a proper graft from start to finish. Sessions like this are exactly why battle PT is such an important part of military life, it builds endurance, discipline, teamwork, and the ability to keep pushing forward when tired and under pressure.
A hard but rewarding way to start the weekend out in sunny Cyprus. ☀️💪
