Is English or maths holding you back?

When Nataliia arrived in the UK, she enrolled on our Functional Skills Level 2 English and maths courses to build her skills and confidence and improve her employment prospects. Today, she's working in a local school and studying towards further qualifications.

Many jobs require a good standard of English and maths. If you don't already have a GCSE qualification, it could be limiting your opportunities.

Like Nataliia, you could gain a recognised qualification, boost your confidence, and develop the skills you need for work, everyday life and further learning.

“The courses offered online by Buckinghamshire Adult Learning suited my needs perfectly – they were easily accessible online, but with support there if needed. Being able to work at my own pace, when I wanted to, how I wanted to, was brilliant. I enjoyed how the courses were set out, with distinct modules to complete, and receiving feedback on the work that I submitted. I’ll admit that I had my doubts about whether Adult Learning was for someone like me, but it has been a very positive experience. I’d recommend these courses to anyone looking for a way to flexibly upskill.”

We were delighted to receive this feedback from Harry, who completed our FREE online Level 2 Principles in Customer Service and Level 2 Understanding Autism course.
