Volunteers Needed for Bakewell Remembrance Sunday

The Bakewell Remembrance Sunday Working Group is seeking approximately four additional volunteers to help with the temporary rolling road closures during the Remembrance Sunday Parade on Sunday 8th November 2026.

Volunteers will meet at 9.50am in the Market Place for a briefing, receive high-visibility clothing and be allocated a road-closure point. They will take up their positions from 10.15am and are expected to finish at approximately 11.20am, once the parade and roads are clear.

This means that volunteers will still be able to attend the Remembrance Service at All Saints’ Parish Church, which begins at 11.30am.

Full instructions will be provided, and volunteers will support the established team managing the rolling road closures.

If you can help, please contact:
