Financial pressures can have a significant impact on our mental health and wellbeing.
With the rising cost of living continuing to affect individuals, families, and communities across the UK, many people are experiencing increased stress, anxiety, and uncertainty around money.
While many financial challenges can feel outside of our control, there are practical steps we can take to better understand the connection between finances and mental wellbeing, and to protect our mental health during difficult times.
This one-hour online session, delivered by Birmingham Mind via Zoom, will explore:
π The relationship between money worries and mental health
π How financial stress can affect our wellbeing
π Practical strategies to support resilience and self-care
π Tips for managing stress and maintaining positive mental wellbeing
Whether you are supporting others or looking to improve your own understanding, this session will provide useful insights and practical tools in a supportive learning environment.

Join us in celebrating and thanking our incredible volunteers this Volunteersβ Week! π
Every day, our volunteers make a real difference to the lives of the people we support.
From answering calls on our Helpline and supporting crisis intervention services, to helping with office-based tasks, awareness events, social media and community outreach β their time, compassion, and dedication help keep our work going.
Whether they give a few hours a week or support us behind the scenes, every contribution matters. Their kindness, commitment, and willingness to help others are at the heart of everything we do, and we simply couldnβt do it without them.
To every one of our volunteers: thank you for your passion, your care, and the countless ways you support our mission. You truly make a difference every single day. π
