Join BSCP to explore Bolton's Neglect Strategy and practical tools that support earlier identification of need, strengthen multi-agency responses, and improve outcomes for children and families.

The roadshow will help practitioners to:

✅Recognise the early signs and impact of neglect.
✅Understand children's lived experiences and developmental needs.
✅Build confidence in conversations with children, young people, and families.
✅Use practical assessment and intervention tools.
✅Develop a shared understanding and language around neglect.

Together, we can help children thrive by recognising need earlier, responding sooner, and working collaboratively to improve outcomes.

What is Aided Language Stimulation (ALS)?

The Aided Language Stimulation workshop will give you an overview of how an alternative communication system can support children with severe communication difficulties. Learn how and where communication boards can be used within a childcare setting and find out how to source and produce useful resources.

This session is fully funded for attending Bolton early years providers.
