Healthwatch Lincolnshire The consumer champion for health and social care in Lincolnshire

We have 3 core functions:
influencing - here to listen to people's views and personal experiences of their health and social care services and share the key messages we hear in order to help influence improvements in services

signposting - signposting people to help them access advice, choice and information about their local health and social care services

The Government has announced that plans to abolish Healthwatch England and local Healthwatch organisations will now not go ahead - this means you still have an independent place to turn to in Lincolnshire with any concerns you have around your health and care services.

The decision to keep Healthwatch happened because people spoke up – proof of the power of public voice! Thank you to everyone in Lincolnshire who backed us and believes in the work that we do.

We’ll share more details of any changes and improvements in the coming weeks. Whatever happens, we will continue to be your champion for independent public voice across Lincolnshire - in short, our work continues as normal.

We will keep on listening to your experiences and sharing what we learn with the people who plan and run health and care services to make things better for everyone.

Thank you for continuing to support Healthwatch Lincolnshire.

We want to hear from you about where you live. Who are the people in your area that make your neighbourhood what it is? What do they do and how do they benefit the communities where you are in Lincolnshire?

https://www.smartsurvey.co.uk/s/C7UZ0P/ - our short survey should only take a few minutes.

Whether you are a parent with young children, someone living with a long-term health condition, or an older person who needs extra help getting around, your experiences will help decide where services should be located and how money should be spent.

The more people we hear from, the clearer the picture we will get of what’s important to everyone – so please share the survey amongst your family, friends, workplaces, community groups and beyond.

🦷 Get your teeth into our survey and have your say 🦷

We recognise that everyone is different; some children may have their teeth brushed/oral health cared for by a parent or carer, while others may look after it themselves.

This survey includes questions about your child’s experience as well as your own experiences as a parent, guardian or carer in or around Boston.

The survey takes 5-15 minutes to complete - we’d love to hear from you!

Your feedback will make a difference and help better understand the oral health needs of the residents of Boston and the wider county, support the Lincolnshire Dental Strategy, and inform the design and delivery of oral health improvement programmes and health services.
